Around the World and Back

I am not really a blogger I guess. I am going to try to post a little more often. Graeme and I recently returned from a mission trip to Birmingham Alabama and we had a great experience. We met some really great people and got to work with really great programs. Urban Ministries and Highlands United Methodist Church were fabulous hosts and they gave us the fire to come back home and see what we can do in our small community to help those in need.

Our next adventure is California. Graeme and I will be heading to LA with Grandma Bonnie next week and we are really excited to escape the cold and the snow for some sunshine. I have only been to SanDiego so this should be great. I will have to report more on that trip when I return.

Here We Go!!!!

I started this blog about a month ago and never wrote anything. I was waiting to find the time to compose a great first entry. Well that hasn't happened so I thought I should just dive right in. Today was a great day. We went to a tree farm to choose our Christmas tree. My Mum came with us and we now have a lovely Fraser Fir standing in our living room. I am looking forward to decorating it tomorrow. We went to Sloan's Christmas Villiage to cut our tree and then on down the road to Parks Blueberries for lunch. Graeme seemed to enjoy himself and we took a ton of great photos that I will add later.

Tonight when we got home from our tree cutting adventure we got our Christmas photos, and they are great. I am looking forward to getting my cards sent out this year. Having Graeme has made me want to send photos out because he is so cute. Nobody wants to look at Shawn and I do they.

Well that is all I can come up with for now and I hope that just getting started will help me keep going.
